Biography
Dana Buchbut have recently graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management and she is the Founder and CEO of Fortress, a startup that is building the next generation medical billing fraud and abuse detection platform for the healthcare industry. Prior to MIT, She earned an MD from Tel-Aviv University and practiced Dermatology and Venereology (STDs) in Israel, at the two biggest hospitals, the Ministry of Health and Physicians for Human Rights (PHR). As part of her role at the Ministry of Health and Physicians for Human Rights, she led mobile clinics designed to provide free medical services to sex workers and Palestinians respectively. In addition, she held the position of Lieutenant at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). She is passionate about delivering better care to patients and finding novel ways to utilize technology and science for what matters the most our health.
