Prof Ziman is Associate Dean of Research and Chair of the HREC at Edith Cowan University. Her research focuses on blood based biomarkers for melanoma. Her team have been awarded > $7 million in funding from the National Health and Medical Research Foundation as well as international funding agencies and pharmaceutical companies and collaborates closely with world leading clinicians and researchers. In 2016 she received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Research. Prof Ziman has been a member of the Parliamentary Committee on skin cancer, and is a member of grant review panels for national federal agencies, Cancer Councils and international review panels. Michael R. Migden, MD is a distinguished US-based dermatologist and Associate Professor, Departments of Dermatology, Division of Internal Medicine, and Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Surgery, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. At MD Anderson, he is the program director of the ACGME Fellowship: Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. Dr. Yinling Hu is a senior investigator and head of Inflammation and Tumorigenesis Section at the Cancer and Inflammation Program, Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, NIH. George Kroumpouzos, MD, PhD, FAAD, is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and former Instructor at the Department of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kroumpouzos’ expertise is in the fields of obstetric/gynecologic dermatology, adverse drug reactions, connective tissue disease, complex medical dermatology, and disorders of pigmentation. Dr. Xiqun Chen, MD, PhD, is an Assistant professor of Neurology and Principle Investigator at the Department of Neurology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. The overall goal of Dr. Chen’s work is to develop improved therapies for Parkinson’s and related neurodegenerative disorders. After graduation with medical and PhD degrees from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University in 2001, Dr. Chen pursued her postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Rochester and Columbia University in the US to study signaling pathways relevant to dopaminergic neuron survival and degeneration. She joined Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 2009. Dr. Chen’s current effort aims to understand biological basis for the link between Parkinson’s disease and cancer, particularly melanoma. Dr. Yong Li is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, working under the direction of Dr. Gary Fisher. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology from the Department of Genomics and Proteomics at Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine, P.R. China in 2000 and his Master of Science in Biochemistry from the Department of Biological Chemistry at the Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine, P.R. China in 1997. Dr. S. Brian Jiang is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology and Director of Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic surgery at UCSD. He received his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and went on to the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center to finish his medical internship. He completed his residency in dermatology at New York University Medical Center where he also served as their Chief Resident during his last year. At NYU Medical Center, Dr. Jiang also completed a fellowship in Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.In 2000, Dr. Jiang joined the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Dr. Jiang served as the Medical Director of the Beth Israel Deaconess Dermatology and Laser Center where he performed and taught Harvard Medical School dermatology residents and physicians on cosmetic dermatology procedures (botulinum toxin injections, filler injections, sclerotherapy, superficial chemical peels) and laser procedures (vascular, pigmented, hair removal, ablative and non-ablative resurfacing). He was also the Associate Director of the Beth Israel Deaconess Dermatologic Surgery Unit and co-directed the Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship Training Program. Dr. Jiang specializes in Mohs and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Procedures. Dr. Jiang has published and lectured extensively on these procedures both domestically and internationally.
